I was born in Brisbane Queensland, and moved to Gladstone in Central Queensland with my husband and young family.  In 2002 we moved to Wodonga Victoria. Currently living in Fingal Bay, Port Stephens.

Whilst living in Wodonga I completed a certificate 4 in Fine Arts at the Riverina TAFE and went on to complete an Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts.

I have travelled extensively in Australia and abroad, gathering inspiration throughout my travels.  I find the Australian landscape is a place for peace and solitude to be immersed and experienced.

I have been inspired by the abundance of flora and fauna that flourishes in the Riverina and Alpine areas. The wetlands and rivers has been the source of many of my artworks with the interplay of light and shapes on water.   I have painted the dry deserts and coastal seascapes.

I paint intuitively, letting the painting dictate the process.  I am amazed by the infinite array of colours, ruggedness and rawness that are the beauty and essence of the Australian landscape.    I have also been influenced by my time in Queensland and the quality and intensity of the light.

My artwork is my journal of the places I have visited and the creative inspiration that has resulted from my travels and the love of art.
